While I would NEVER swim in the water around Manhattan, I can easily be
convinced to swim while looking at the water around Manhattan. Brooklyn
Bridge Park now has a pool and a small beach area with real sand. Anyone can hang out at the beach and the bar,
but in order to swim, you have to pick up a ticket with a designated
time. So, if you're like me, the next Saturday afternoon you find yourself awkwardly
at a 45 degree angle under your window A/C unit trying to cool down, grab your wayfarers and
SPF and head out to Brooklyn. Enjoy!
